How to play
Two photos sit side by side (or one above the other on a phone). The second one has five changes. Find them all.
- Tap a difference on either picture. A red circle marks it on both.
- Wrong taps show a small cross and count as a miss. Misses don't end the game; they just show up in your result.
- Hint circles the area around one difference you haven't found yet.
- Show answers reveals everything. The puzzle then counts as unsolved.
Easy and Hard
Every day has two puzzles from two different photos. Easy changes bigger things, like the colour of a car or a whole object appearing. Hard changes smaller details. Every change in both is checked by eye on a phone screen before it's published, so none hides in blur or noise.
What can change?
An object's colour, something removed, something added, something bigger, or something flipped. Lighting and compression never count as differences.
Streaks and stats
Your streak grows by one each day you solve that day's puzzle (easy or hard). Puzzles from the archive are there to enjoy but don't change your streak. Stats are stored only in this browser, so there's no account and nothing to sign up for. Clearing your browser data resets them.
New puzzles
A new puzzle unlocks at midnight in your own time zone. The timer pauses while the tab is hidden.
